Favorite Snacks

Jonah has discovered a few new favorite snacks. He really likes Nilla Wafers. He has been doing a great job of putting it in his mouth and sucking on it. He makes a huge mess but it's worth it!
He has also recently discovered that if he reaches far enough he can put the toy on his walker in his mouth. He usually ends up pretty mad in his attempt to do this. . .it spins around and he normally ends up getting hit in the mouth. He's persistent and is getting pretty good at aiming!

Christmas in Pennsylvania

After our weekend in DC, we made the journey north with my mom, sister, and pretty much everyone else in the family. In Pennsylvania we got to celebrate Christmas with the Mook/Williams side of my family. Jonah tried a taste of his first cracker --vegetable flavored -- and seemed to enjoy it. On New Years Eve Day we made pizzas and hung out.
Jonah finally got to meet Uncle Dan, Aunt Dina, Brenna, Cameron, and his other cousin Logan. Aunt Dina had the magic touch and put Jonah to sleep for his afternoon nap.
Cousin Brenna was there to feed him when he woke up! Jonah loves anyone who will give him food!
The Richards and Williams family, except Dad, who had to stay in Indiana for work stuff.

Christmas in Washington DC

We spent the weekend after Christmas in Washington DC with the Platt side of my family. Jonah experienced his first plane ride since we had to fly in because of the wedding. He did a great job -- he actually slept through it all! Jonah received lots of great gifts from his grandparents and aunts and uncles and he became quite the expert at tearing off the wrapping paper. Of course, he immediately tried to put it into this mouth.

The older "kids" made an attempt to go ice skating in DC at night, except the rink was sold out. Who ever heard of an ice skating rink being sold out? We had a nice time anyway, Aunt Debbie drove us around DC and we got to see the sights lit up.

Christmas Wedding

Jarrett's nephew Adam was married to Jeannie on December 27. Their 6 1/2 month old, Jaci, was their flower girl. It was a beautiful wedding and reception.
Jarrett was an usher in the wedding and Jonah helped Aunt Trish and I decorate for the reception.
