Big Stuff

I was checking on Jonah the other day during his nap, and this is how he was sleeping. He must have had a rough day.
Jonah is tolerating tummy time a lot more now. He loves playing with his alligator xylophone. He bangs on it all the time. He gets SUPER mad that he mallet doesn't come off. Thanks to the Unrath family for the great gift!
Jonah thinks he is big stuff now that he can roll over both ways. He is rolling all over the living room and we never know where we will find him if leave the room for even a minute.

1 Year Old!

Playing with his train from Papa and Grandma.
Jonah is making progress with his motor development. He is sitting up better but not all the time. When we stand him up, he is starting to move his feet a little to walk. He has been rolling over both ways now, back to belly and belly to back.

What a big boy! He looks so handsome.

Jonah does a lot of babbling; he always seems to have something to say. He has said doggie while looking right at Tiffer. We have also heard good, yeah, hi, hey, mom, and dada. He does not say anything consistently but he tries really hard.

Sitting in a bucket with my rubber ducky.

Jonah is still a wonderfully, pleasant baby. He has been wonderful even while teething. Right now he is in the process of getting at least two more teeth. He is starting to show signs of weaning himself off the bottle. He only takes them on the weekend before bed. He is still taking one for Trish during the day which is fine. My guess is that when I am home with him this summer, we'll be able to get him off the bottle completely. . .assuming he really is ready. He's such a beautiful baby.
His first year has flown by so fast. As most people know, we went to the Ear, Nose, and Throat doctor this week. They ran another hearing test and they know he can hear low tones in his right ear instead of practically nothing. His doctor believes he may be able to hear more than that but we won't know until he gets older.
